How to create incredible photographs with your phone or whatever camera you have in your pocket !

It's long been said that the best camera is the one you have with you. One scroll through your Instagram feed and you may look twice, wowed by the quality of photos coming from the phone.

Here are few tips that will dramatically improve your photos.

Shaded areas reduce vertical light and allows softer horizontal light to illuminate your subject. Just like light, shadow and color play important roles within a given composition textures add detail and interact with those other elements.

Stability equals better photos because of the limited low light performance of your cell phone camera, keeping it steady is really important. Ensuring that the phone is stable will improve your image quality.

If you want to adjust the brightness of the photos you are taking, the process is pretty straight forward. Tap the screen in the area you want to be in focus and set the exposure for that area.

For iPhone, this will bring up a yellow box around the area you tapped and a slider. You can move the slider up to brighten the scene or down to darken. For Android feature should be similar.

Get Close to Your Subject .One of the most common mistakes with camera phone images is that their subject ends up being a tiny, unrecognizable object in the distance. Camera phone images tend to be small due to low resolution (although this is changing) – so fill up your view finder with your subject to save having to zoom in on the subject in editing it later

Take loads of Shots and Experiment

The beauty of all forms of digital photography (including that of camera phones) is the ability to shoot off many shots quickly and without cost. This means you can experiment with different modes and composition and discard those that you don’t want to keep.

Camera phones are particularly good for experimenting with new angles and perspectives – shoot from down low, up high, close up etc and you’ll end up with interesting and fun shots.
